Halloween Cake Pops

I have a cake auction at work this week, and I decided to make cake
pops. I wanted to make a test batch because last time I used colored
candy melts, they didn't melt very well. However, these worked great!
The black edible ink pen did not work as well...it was very hard to
get the ink to show on the frosting.

Overall, I think they're cute! What do you think?

  1. Love them! Great job! How do you get them so perfectly round? I had issues with that when I did mine a few months back....

  2. H I have one at home...you should stop by.

Katie - I'm getting better at getting them round (though they're far from perfect). After I freeze them for 15-30 minutes or so, I pick each one up as I'm about to dip it and sort of gently reshape it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the candy melts perfectly smooth!
